Insurance Discounts

Several states by law require insurers to provide consumers who install an anti-theft device such as a vehicle immobilizer a discount on the comprehensive portion of automobile insurance premiums.

In addition, many insurers voluntarily offer discounts in states where they are not required to do so in order to encourage the installation of anti-theft devices such as vehicle immobilizers.
